SUSTAINABILITY ON THE ROOF
DEKRA has already verified Schofer Germany as a climate-neutral company. In a next logical step, a photovoltaic system was installed on the company roof this summer. With a module area of approx. 1.750 sqm, the electrical output is approx. 200 kWp.
Self-consumption of the energy generated is around 70%, which means that Schofer can cover around 40% of its total electricity consumption. The remaining requirement is 100% filled with green electricity from renewable energy sources.
50% of the company car fleet has already been converted to electric or hybrid vehicles.
